	I/We declare that I/we have read and understand the conditions of entry for the races, which were attached to this form, and agree to be bound by them.
	I/We acknowledge and agree as a condition of entry that neither the Promoters nor Sponsors, nor the Organisers of the event, nor their respective Servants, Officials, Representatives or Agents (the organisers) shall be under any liability for my/our bodily injury or death, loss or damage, which may be sustained or incurred by me/us as a result of participation in or being present at the event except in regard to any rights I/we may have arising from any relevant legislation.
	I/We acknowledge that all care is taken to prevent damage to persons or property.
	I/We are over 18 years of age (where entrant is under 18 years of age this form must be countersigned by parent or guardian).
Conditions of Entry
1.All entrants shall complete a copy of the entry form. 2.Entry is open until 10am on the day. 3.Entrants must book in by 10am, after booking in you must have your billy cart scrutineered and attend drivers brief at 10.30am. 4.The organisers of the event are “Victorian Billy Cart Championships Inc Committee”. 5.Any queries in relation to the conditions of entry are to be directed to Janine Stephens 57851305 or 0407 813105. 6.The races are to be run in a series of classes; each class will be run in heats, with the overall winners of each class receiving a Trophy and Sash. 7.The races are to be held in High St (old Northern Hwy) starting at 11am with the 6 years & under on Good Friday 2nd April 2010. 8.The course is the main road from the highest point at the southern end to the rest area in the middle of town (opposite the Hotel) approximately 180m. 9.All entrants must supply and wear approved safety equipment, including knee and elbow pads and a helmet. 10.Each entrant (except 6y and under) will start from starting ramp supplied, after which they must rely on gravity for their movement. 6y and under will have a push start by parent/guardian. 11.Billy cart must not exceed 2m from front to rear axle and must have at least 3 wheels. Refer to website for further details and instructions. 12.Brakes that require removal of both hands from the steering system of the Billy Cart to apply the brake will not be permitted. 13.Each Billy Cart must be fitted, with a brake that must pass scrutineering by the Organisers of the event. Carts that are deemed to be unsafe will not be permitted to compete. 14.The Organisers reserve the right to disallow any entrant or Billy Cart without having to justify their decision. 15.The decision of the Clerk of Course will be final and no protest will be considered. 16.All entrants must ensure that their equipment is of a standard, which will protect them and spectators from any injury or damage to property. 17.All entrants enter this Billy Cart Race at their own risk. 18.Carts must be driven in a straight line until stopped and directed by officials. 19.All entrants agree to follow instruction given by the Officials (wearing official vest) or the Police during the course of the events. 20.Entries can be submitted on the official entry form prior to the day to receive discount and sent to VBCC Inc. PO Box 339 Pyalong Vic 3521, or before 10am on the morning of the race. 21.Entrants will be entered into the section relevant to their age as at the day of the event 10 April 2009. 22.Entries are limited in each class & will be taken on ‘first in and paid in full’ basis.
